The Manna House Bakery in South Queensferry

REVIEW: THE MANNA HOUSE BAKERY

We took a visit to South Queensferry yesterday, with the aim to find somewhere nice for breakfast. We have already visited many of the hotels and coffee shops in the area, and whilst walking on the High Street discovered The Manna House Bakery. It looks great from the outside, so we decided that we would stop here and have breakfast.

I’m so glad that we did. The interior is very cool and a bit industrial, the bread from the bakery looked amazing (will definitely be buying some to take away the next time), and there was plenty of room for our party of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids).

As we were there for breakfast, we had bacon rolls, French toast with maple syrup and bacon, sausage rolls and a vegan humous roll to keep us satisfied. No complaints from anyone as it was all delicious. Coffee was good too – I was especially delighted with having a choice of soya, almond or coconut milk with my coffee as I don’t take dairy.

This is a great spot – I love it when you find a very cool place when you don’t expect to. I can definitely recommend and give The Manna House Bakery a very worthy 5 stars.
