We took a boat trip on Maid of the Forth, and what an experience it was. How else can you get up close to three famous bridges – Forth Rail Bridge, Forth Road Bridge, and Queensferry Crossing. Seeing the bridges in all their glory was a fabulous sight to see, as was watching out for birds, and seal spotting too.
We did the 90 minute sightseeing cruise, where we cruised under all three Forth Bridges and down towards Inchcolm Island. You can also choose a trip which allows you to hop off the boat to explore Inchcolm Island where you can visit the ancient Abbey, marvel at the magnificent wildlife, or relax on the beaches and take in the fabulous views. You then hop back onboard to enjoy the return trip back to South Queensferry.
Have a look at the Maid of the Forth website to discover more about the Sightseeing Cruise, the Inchcolm Landing Cruise, or their Jazz and Folk Music BBQ Cruises.
